Mission accomplished
As many of you already know, the Charity Duathlon was held last Sunday, on 28th June. The healthiest challenge, sponsored by our brand, IVY Health, was a complete success.
Unforgettable memories were experienced at the Duathlon. A real charity party, in a very pretty setting and with incredible people. We only have words of gratitude for the associations, volunteers, chaperones, participants, for Jorge Fernández for attending the event despite his very busy schedule and, of course, for the great effort on behalf of the participants.
And what more needs to be said other than, mission accomplished! We have raised the spectacular amount of €30,000 that will be put towards the Basque Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis, the Bizkaia Parkinson’s Association and the Euskadi Heart and Lung Disease and Transplant Association. We trust that the money will help to promote their selfless activity a little more.
After the challenge, awards were presented to the top three classified participants and representatives of the associations, which explained what their causes involve, an emotional moment for all of the participants. Afterwards there was a barbecue, which fired the starting gun to the popular lunch. In short, a day full of unforgettable moments and surrounded by very selfless people.
In the sporting side of the event, the podium ended up as follows, well done to the champions!
