Accessories vendor Fonexion is ready to expand its distribution and retail channel reach in 2013 and will attend next month’s DISTREE EMEA to meet these objectives. Luke Ireland, COO at Fonexion, said: “We are looking for distributors or big retail chains who feel interested in Ideus and other exclusive brands and licences we are currently distributing. Turning 15 contacts into customers would meet our goals.”

With the region’s leading ICT and consumer electronics (CE) distributors and retailers attending DISTREE EMEA, the event is a powerful business platform for vendors looking to enhance their channel reach. Prior to the event, each vendor pre-schedules one-on-one meeting with potential partners that meet their business objectives using DISTREE EMEA’s powerful web planning tools.

“We have our own brand, Ideus, together with numerous licensed brands that are used on our products – mainly mobile, smartphone and tablet accessories. We want to show we are different. This is achieved by licensing brands aimed at the mass market and ones that are exclusive to Fonexion,” added Ireland.

Fonexion will focus on EU markets and the Middle East as it looks to open up new routes-to-market.

“We are in a growing market and Fonexion is expanding ahead of the curve. The trend is differentiation, offering a product that’s different from our competitors and unique to us,” explained Ireland.

Fonexion distributes unique and exclusive products worldwide, under very well-known brands, presented in attractive and eco-friendly packaging with a solid margin for the distributor and retailer, according to the vendor.

“The channel will only work if all the parts involved get what they are expecting: good margin, excellent sell through and great service,” added Ireland.

“Our business segment is quite healthy despite the adverse economic environment and we are managing to grow. The rapid shift from regular mobile phones to smartphones will increase the aftermarket mobile accessory sales, so the trend seems to be a constant growth in this market at least for the next five years,” he continued.

“We believe strongly in supporting our channel partners. Taking time to select the right ones is part of our process. In 2013 we want to grow our channel and welcome the opportunity to talk to potential partners,” Ireland concluded.

Fonexion’s range of licensed products is extensive with over 15 well-known brands available. The vendor offers ‘Made for iPhone’ and ‘Built for BlackBerry’ products and has ISO9001 certification with ISO14001 expected very soon. Fonexion believes that its in-house design team and long-term partnership with factories in China guarantees the right product made to the highest quality standards.
